Discover the Treasures of Tenerife with an excursion to Santa Cruz, La Laguna, and Taganana, a journey that takes you from the island's modern capital, through a historic and colonial city, and into the heart of the Anaga Rural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve, culminating in a visit to a traditional seaside village.
This excursion, which spans Santa Cruz, La Laguna, and Taganana, showcases the contrasts and essence of Tenerife, offering a deep dive into the island's history and culture.
Our first stop is Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island's capital and a major maritime hub of the Canary Islands. Here, you can marvel at fascinating buildings such as the Tenerife Auditorium and avant-garde structures like Plaza de España and Plaza Weyler.
Next, we head to La Laguna, the first city founded in Tenerife after its conquest. This historic gem was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Stroll through its picturesque streets, rich in history and culture.
We then venture into the imposing Anaga Massif, also a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This natural space is home to one of Europe’s most precious treasures: the laurel forest from the Tertiary era.
Descending towards the beautiful northeastern coast of the island, we reach the charming town of Taganana, noted for its natural beauty and stunning ocean and cliff views.
In the hamlet of Taganana, you will have free time to stroll, have lunch, and savor Canarian cuisine. Our guide will recommend some local dishes for you to try. After lunch and a day spent discovering some of Tenerife’s treasures, we will return to the starting point.
